Sports recreation club "Mumma" on June 30, 2018. organizes the first trail race in Brinje called "Brinje Trail". The mentioned race took place as part of the KontinenTrail league, which is made up of 7 other races across continental Croatia. The goal of the Association is to involve the entire local community, starting with the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Brinje, the Mountaineering Society of Škamnica from Brinje and local OPG members, and thus promote local entrepreneurs. The association also tries to advertise entrepreneurs from other parts of the Lika-Senj County by promoting their products in order to encourage production, sales and economic growth. Several ways have been devised to present the Lika region and make this race unique in Croatia. One of them is gastronomy, i.e. the lunch served to the contestants, which contains the most famous Lika foods. The winning cup, medals and pedestal are unique, made of wood, as befits a Face, and were made by a woodworker from Brinje.
